| You
can utilize our Lifetime Benefit Program in which you can replace
your injector at any time for $200.
The Lifetime Benefit Program is available for every diabetic AdvantaJet® user,
their employer & their insurance carrier.
An owner can have their AdvantaJet® replaced as many times as they wish, for
their entire lifetime, at the price of $200 each time. Assuming you replace
your injector 3 times in 20 years that is about $100 per year for your
own personal injector with all of its benefits, at a cost that's much less
than that of the annual cost of needles... and its for a lifetime.
The program allows a person to return their jet injector to us at any time
and exchange it for a factor rebuilt device for a limited fixed price. This price
is determined each year and is fixed for the life of that client. As an
example in 2002, a person may purchase a Jet Injector for $595 (USA). At
any time after the two-year warranty has expired, the user may exchange
their jet for a factor rebuilt one at the fixed price of $200 (USA). They can do this
as many times as they wish.
Each year Carousel Medical Systems reviews the Lifetime Benefit Price and determines the fixed
"exchange price" for that year. For instance in 2003, it may be determined
that the Lifetime Benefit Price should be $225. This new Lifetime Benefit
Price will prevail for all Jet Injectors sold from that point on, but persons
who had purchased an AdvantaJet® before that time would still have their
previous Lifetime Benefit Price maintained.
The Lifetime Benefit Program provides the consumer with a lifetime of comfortable
insulin injections at a lower cost than needles and syringes. Our estimates
suggest that needles and syringes cost the diabetic person approximately
$200 to $250 per year. Our Jet Injector will last a user well over ten
years. With the Lifetime Benefits Plan they can replace their AdvantaJet®
Injector for a price that is less than a one-year supply of needles. This
provides the client with impressive economics and a safe efficient means
of insulin delivery.
Insurance carriers and national health care plans can save millions of dollars per
year by providing their clients with Jet Injectors and enrolling them in
the Lifetime Benefit Program. It is our expectation that most diabetic
persons using an AdvantaJet® will incur a cost of less than $100 per year
for their insulin injections.
Finally, the Lifetime Benefit Program allows a diabetic person to change their AdvantaJet®
Injector as their bodies and skin conditions change. For instance, a child,
when first diagnosed as needing insulin injections, is likely to need a
GentleJet® Injector, which has been specifically designed for their gentle
skin. However, as they grow older they will likely need to change their
injector to an AdvantaJet® or AdvantaJet® ES (Extra Strength) the Lifetime
Benefit Program allows this change with a minimum cost to the diabetic
person and their insurance carrier or health plan.
What this means is that:
- The insulin delivery cost to the average diabetic will be approximately $100
per year as opposed to the current $200 to $250 per year. [some will save more]
-
Diabetic
Health Insurance costs can be reduced by millions of dollars
For
example:
Five
to seven million Type I diabetics each saving $150 per year for 10 years
is a total saving of $7.5 Billion over 10 years.
- You can change the specific model of AdvantaJet®, that you require, as your
skin and sensitivity characteristics change; without the cost of a new
injector
