| Who can use the AdvantaJet® Injection System? |
- Any insulin dependent or insulin using person with diabetes mellitus,
providing they are properly trained by a qualified instructor. Carousel provides
complete training.
- Visually impaired individuals, since loading of the device can be safely performed by many of these patients.
| Who may not be able to
use the AdvantaJet® Injection System? |
- Patients on anticoagulants (e.g. Heparin, Coumadin, etc.) or individuals with coagulation defects.
- The self-injecting patient who lacks manual dexterity.
The AdvantaJet®, GentleJet® and AdvantaJet®ES provide precise and
accurate dosing for all insulin types.
Yesterday’s jet injector required
complicated procedures for use and maintenance. Plus, their construction allowed
